Nepal Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill, 2079BS that was endorsed and sent by National Assembly was tabled in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.
Earlier, President Bidya Devi Bhandari returned the bill to the parliament for reconsideration. National Assembly, the upper house, on Friday passed the bill with majority votes without any amendments and returned it to lower house, said the HoR secretary Gopal Nath Yogi.
