Election Commission has suggested government to conduct election for members of House of Representative and Provincial Assembly on Mangsir 2.
A team led by Chief Election Officer, Dinesh Thapaliya reached PM’s resident at Baluwatar today to suggest a single date to conduct election of both assemblies. As per legal provision, government has to announce final date for election after consultation with election commission.
Government has to announce the date prior to 120 days of election. EC has informed government today so as to maintain this prerequisite on the proposed date.
