Lalitpur Mayor Tests Positive For Covid
Lalitpur Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan has tested positive for covid-19.
Metro has informed that Maharjan has tested positive on Friday. Maharjan’s health condition is normal and is taking rest in isolation at his own home, metro source informed.
Friday 83 cases came positive throughout country while 60 positive cases were identified yesterday. Covid cases are in increasing rate since few days with health official warning for a fourth wave.
The new sub variants of Omicron variants have been spreading rapidly in western countries. Few cases of new subvariant BA.5 have already been confirmed in Nepal as well.
