NEPSE loses 77 points in a rather pessimistic day for investors.
Monday, 217 scripts saw a downfall, 4 remained unchanged while only 6 scripts gained. Soaltee Hotel was the only script that gained among equities. Today, 6,313,641 scripts were traded while total turnover reached 2.32 billions, almost double from previous trading day.
Grameen Bikas lost the most with negative circuit while Kisan Laghubitta, Himalayan Power and Mountain Hydro also lost more than 9%. Himalayan Distillery was the top traded script with more 110 million total turnover. As NRB prepares for monetary policy, investors are dubious about probable unfriendly policy for share market. Last year also NRB tightened in investment in share market and realstate.
Similary Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari has been openly suggesting about policy reform to increase interest rate which has further panicked investors.
