5 people have been injured after a leopard entered a house in Nagarjun municipality of Kathmandu.
Leopard entered a hencoop at around 1 am midnight in Bhimdhunga, Nagarjun-8. After people went to chase, leopard attacked the people. Pancha Kumar Bhattarai, 49yo and his family members are among the injured. The injured are being treated at Manmohan Memorial Hospital. 3 are admitted to hospital while 2 have already been discharged.
Leopard attacks are frequent in outskirts of Kathmandu due to close proximity of big forests. Wild animals often reach residential areas in search of food.
