Lalitpur metro has marked Nakkhu-Ekantakuna as one-way road for 4 wheelers from Tuesday.
4 wheelers coming from Nakkhu are prohibited from Gayatri Petrol Pump to Ekatakuna for 279 metres. Similarly 4 wheelers arriving from Bhanimandal are prohibited to travel towards Nakkhuchowk for 252 metres according to circular published by Metro today. New rules will come to effect from tomorrow from 8 am in the morning to 8 pm in night.
The measure is taken to control increasing traffic pressure in crossroad at Ekantakuna and Nakkhuchowk and prevent possible accidents, Metro has mentioned. Suggestions of traffic specialists, concerned personnels and public are considered while taking the decision, circular further reads.
Jhamsikhel, Patan area is already made oneway by Lalitpur metro.
