A woman died due to delivery-related complication in Humla district today. She is Rangita Shahi, 20, of Adanchuli rural municipality-5.
The health institution is six hours walk from the village. Bal Bahadur Shahi, relative of Rangita, complained that Rangita died while giving birth to the child after they could not take her to the hospital on time in lack of transport facility.
Earlier, Pabitra Shahi, 24, of Sarkegad rural municipality-7 died in the village due to excessive bleeding in lack of treatment one month ago.
